Cancelling an Order

Before your order has been shipped, you may cancel it by email: sagastore@sagastore.is

Online Purchases – Right of Return

You have 14 days from the date the order arrives at the pickup location to return items. To be eligible for return, the product must be:

  • In original condition
  • Unused
  • With the original tag or price label still attached
  • For health reasons, the following items cannot be returned: earrings, underwear, bodysuits or tights.

You choose either a store credit or a refund. If you paid with store credit refunds are not possible. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

In-Store Purchases (Saga Store, Bankastræti 11, Iceland)

Items must be returned within 14 days with the receipt.

Returns items must be:

  • In original condition
  • Unused
  • With the original tag or price label still attached
  • For health reasons, the following items cannot be returned: earrings, underwear, bodysuits or tights.

In-store returns can only be exchanged for another item, store credit, or a gift card. Refunds are not given for in-store purchases. 

Sale and Promotional Items

Online sale items have a 14-day return right.
Special offers (e.g., “3 for 2”) can only be exchanged for another sale item of equal or lower value.

Gifts & Gift Cards


If an item marked as a gift is sent directly to the recipient and later returned, the recipient will receive store credit for the value of the product at the time of return.

Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.

Faulty Items

If an item is faulty, notify immediately by emailing sagastore@sagastore.is with photos.

You may return the item in person or send it back. Depending on the issue, the solution may be:

  • Repair
  • Exchange
  • Refund

Rights regarding defective goods are covered by Icelandic law on consumer sales (Act No. 48/2003).

Refunds

Refunds are processed once the returned item is received and inspected.

You will be notified by email when the return is received.

If approved, the refund will be processed in the same way the order was originally paid:

  • Credit/debit card cancellation
  • Bank transfer

Refunds should arrive within a few days.
