Orders
Shopping with us is super easy — and a little bit fun. Just wander through our store, find something you love, pick your options, and hit “Add to Cart.” When your cart is full of happiness, head to “Checkout,” pop in your details, and click “Complete Order.” Boom. You did it.
Need it fast? We’ve got you:
- Click & Collect: Order online, swing by, and grab your goodies like the VIP you are.
- Same-Day Delivery: Staying at a hotel or Airbnb in Reykjavík? We’ll bring your order right to your door — yes, like magical shopping elves.
You'll get a confirmation email so you know everything is on its way.
Don’t worry — we won’t leave you hanging! As soon as you place your order, we’ll send a confirmation email straight to your inbox. It’s basically our way of saying, “Yes! We got it!”
If you don’t see it right away, check your spam or promotions folder — sometimes emails like to go on little adventures. And if it’s still hiding, just reach out and we’ll happily confirm it for you!
Maybe! If your order hasn’t headed out into the Icelandic wilderness yet, we can usually update your address — just contact us rætt og þétt (a.k.a. ASAP, like you’re chasing a flying Icelandic puffin).
If your order has already left, it might be on its own little adventure through Reykjavík, and changing the address could be tricky. But don’t worry — we’ll do our best Viking-level problem-solving to help you out. Just reach out and we’ll see what kind of Icelandic magic we can work!
Usually yes — but only if the order hasn’t been processed yet. Just send us a message snöggt (quickly!), like you’re running from an unexpected Reykjavík wind gust.
If your order is already fully processed, we might not be able to change the billing address, but we’ll still try our best. Think of us as your friendly customer-service elves — always here to help where we can!
Possibly. It depends on your country’s rules.
Any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the customer’s responsibility.
(We wish we could magically waive them, but alas… governments.)
Yes: Customs fees in the U.S. are decided and collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, not us, not DHL.
They vary depending on what you order and current regulations.
We’d love to, but we can’t.
Every country has its own rules, and fees can change like the weather.
If a package gets sent back because customs weren't paid, we’ll refund you,
minus the shipping cost and any return fees charged along the way.
Shipping & Returns
Yes, absolutely! We’re happy to send your goodies around the world — like a globe-trotting puffin on a mission.
Just enter your international address at checkout and you’ll see the available shipping options. If your country isn’t listed (we’re sorry, sometimes the checkout page acts like it forgot geography), just send us a message and we’ll fix it faster than an Icelandic barista makes a latte.
Wherever you are on this lovely planet, we’ll do our best to get your order from our lava island to your doorstep!
We ship orders as quickly as possible, usually within 1 business day. Once your items are packed and ready to leave our little Icelandic lava island, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with all the details.
If we’re experiencing a busy day (or the Reykjavík wind is being dramatic), processing may take a bit longer — but we always do our best to keep things moving rætt og þétt.
Your order won’t be waiting long!
Thanks to our trusty partners at DHL, your order usually arrives in 3–5 working days if you’re in Europe or the USA — basically as fast as an Icelandic hot spring can warm you up.
Just a little heads up: your local customs might decide to take a peek and slow things down a bit. Sadly, we have no control over customs officers (we tried offering them cookies once… didn’t help).
But don’t worry — once your parcel starts its journey, it’s well on its way from our lava island to your doorstep!
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, you can return your item within 14 days of receiving it. Simply contact us before sending anything back, and we’ll guide you through the process — rætt og þétt, as we say in Iceland.
Please note that items must be unused and in their original condition. Because many of our products are handmade and unique, we appreciate your care in packaging returns securely for their journey back to our little lava island.

If you order on a weekend or holiday, we’ll get things moving first thing on the next working day.
Yes! If you’re in Reykjavík and place your order before 18:00, we’ll get it to you the same day.

Our Products
Many of our items are handmade and truly one-of-a-kind, which means each piece has its own unique character — much like the ever-changing colours of Icelandic nature. Because of this individuality, exact colours may vary, and the “Surprise me!” option allows us to select a beautiful item for you from our curated collection.
If you prefer a specific colour, simply send us a message. We’re more than happy to check our current selection and help you find a piece that matches your preference. We want your order to feel just right.
Yes — many of our products are handmade, crafted with care and attention to detail. Each piece has its own unique character, much like Iceland’s ever-changing landscape.
A large selection is made exclusively for our store, so you won’t find them anywhere else.
Other items are designed in Iceland, usually by one of our talented team members, giving each piece an authentic local touch.

We are proud to be an independently owned, woman-led Icelandic company — not part of any large chain. Our first store opened 12 years ago, and we’ve been growing with heart ever since.
We’re especially grateful to be one of the few independent businesses in Reykjavík that survived the COVID years, all while keeping several of our wonderful team members — many of whom have stayed with us for years. Our team is more than just staff: many of them are creators and designers, crafting items exclusively for our store and giving our collections their unique Icelandic soul.
Today, we operate three stores in downtown Reykjavík:

- Little Proud Puffin (two locations)
Being independent also gives us the freedom to support small local companies and artists, offering them a chance to showcase and sell their creations in our retail spaces — something we’re incredibly proud of.
We love what we do, and we’re thankful to share it with visitors from all around the world.
